Square Enix has revealed the blu-ray edition of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, now titled Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete is now apparently set for a release sometime next year.

The PlayStation Portable-based action title Dissidia: Final Fantasy has yet to receive an official release date, but at least we now know that the various characters appearing in the game are apparently guided by two opposing gods representing harmony and chaos.

Instead of traditional random encounters, the Level 5-developed Dragon Quest IX for DS will apparently feature symbol-based encounters. Due to delays, Square Enix’s biggest DS title to date will only hit Japanese retail store shelves next year.

A magazine scan has surfaced for Dissidia: Final Fantasy and from the looks of things it appears the game is action-based rather then the traditional rpg. It seems Dissidia: Final Fantasy is set to chronicle all the Final Fantasy games from the last twenty years. From the scan you can see Zidane and Kuja fighting, and also a character from the original Final Fantasy game.

A while back we announced that Square Enix had trademarked the name Dissidia. Rumors went flying around about what it was for. Some said the Final Fantasy XII Compilation, while others said Final Fantasy VII Compilation, and there was even some who said the Fabula Nova Crystallis. It was even thought that Dissidia had nothing to do with Final Fantasy.

Well Square Enix has decided to open the official website of Dissidia, and it turns out its a Final Fantasy game after all. Although only a flash intro is available it does give us some new information on Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

The game logo was revealed and it seems Tetsuya Nomura is in charge of Character Design. Rumors claim this game is to be released for the Sony PSP, but this still has no confirmation.
